First sketches
I started by making a lot of sketches to try to come up with a concept that I could work on further. There were many different variations of backpacks.
Further development
Below are three sketch concepts that I chose to develop further because I thought those concepts seemed the most interesting. The first concept is a bag where the entire front can be opened. The second concept is a bit like a bike bag combined with a vest. The last concept is a bag you open in the middle to get two large compartments.
Sketch poster
I chose the middle of the three concepts and made the sketches a bit more realistic by adding shadows and more details. I also enhanced views in different perspectives to give a further understanding of how the concept is supposed to work.
I think this has been a fun project where I've had to learn and improve my sketching technique, I've also had to practice more using Photoshop to put all the sketches together into a poster.
